While I was in Norway chasing the Northern Lights, I visited the world famous installation park in Oslo called Vigeland Park named after their reknown sculptor, Adolf Gustav Vigeland (1869-1943).One is able to take a Norwegian Cultural Heritage Walking Tour and revel in the lush landscape of over 200 masterful sculptures and fountains, where each statue has a story of its own. It's like an open air gallery.Gustav used bronze, granite and wrought iron for all his works such as The Angry Boy, The Wheel of Life, The Fountain, The Main Gate and Bridge with Children's Playground.I have only captured The Monolith in this painting with my own tweak of surrounding it with the other sculptures I have seen.

Inspiration can be scarce at times, especially when as an artist, I have to meet deadlines to submit an artwork. This piece is a product of finding peace amidst chaos, a demonstration of temperament management and pressing on to imagine.... a dream house floating on waters. I listened to classical music and I painted most of this piece with my eyes closed.Voila, my perfect house appeared!

This is my rendition of one of Kuala Lumpur's featured sites. My mind sees buildings in shades of purple and blue.I was inspired to continue to paint my favourite KL's cityscape after my first small success of painting Petronas Twin Towers. I had my own breakthrough of painting in lines style of a building, with my palette knives.So this can be considered a sequel to the first.

I received my sponsored child's letter from Vietnam and I was inspired to paint what may perhaps be her home village as I imagined.I dedicate this painting to her.
